See U Again

Create an AI Video of a Deceased Loved One

When someone you love has died, a photo can feel like the last place you can still see them. Many people now look for a way to see that photo move again: a smile, a turn of the head, a moment together that feels close to real.

That is what we make. From one or two photos, our team uses AI to create a short memorial video. It begins with the two of you together, then gently moves to your loved one on their own, as if you were meeting once more. You don't need any software or editing skills.

What an AI Video of a Loved One Can and Can't Do

AI can add gentle, natural movement to a still photo. It can:

  • bring back a familiar expression, such as a smile, a blink or a turn of the head;
  • give an old print, even one from decades ago, a sense of life;
  • create a quiet scene of the two of you together, then of them on their own.

What it can't do is bring back who they were. The video is an artistic tribute based on a picture, not a recording of something that happened. Small details may differ from real life, and that is worth knowing before you watch it.

How to Create One

  1. 1Upload one or two photos. A photo of the two of you together, plus a clear photo of your loved one on their own, works best.
  2. 2Add their name and any wishes. Tell us the mood you'd like, a favourite song, or a detail that matters to you.
  3. 3Receive the video by email. Our team creates it with AI and emails you a 1080p MP4 within 48 hours, with one free revision.

Choosing Photos That Work

  • Pick photos where their face is clear and not too small in the frame.
  • Front-facing or slightly turned faces work better than profiles.
  • Daylight or even indoor light is best. Avoid heavy filters, strong shadows and blur.
  • If a group photo is all you have, tell us which person is your loved one.

Is It Right for You?

For many people, seeing a loved one smile again brings real comfort. For others it feels too soon, or simply strange. There is no right answer, and there is no deadline. A few things that help:

  • Wait until you feel ready. Some families make one for an anniversary rather than straight away.
  • Watch it on your own first, before sharing it.
  • Before showing it to relatives, tell them it was made with AI and ask whether they'd like to see it. Not everyone will, and that is fine.
  • Keep the original photo too. The video sits alongside it; it doesn't replace it.

Doing It Respectfully

  • Only upload photos and recordings you have the right to use, ideally with the agreement of close family.
  • Don't make videos of living people without their consent, or of public figures and strangers.
  • When you share the video, say that it was made with AI.
  • Never use it to suggest that something really happened or that someone really said something.

Our Terms of Service explain these rules in full.

Questions

How long does it take?

We email the finished video within 48 hours of your order. If we expect a delay, we tell you in advance.

How much does it cost?

$9.90 per video. That includes background music and one free revision if something doesn't feel right.

Can I use an old or damaged photo?

Yes. Scan it, or photograph it flat in daylight without glare. Tell us about any damage in the special requests so we know what to expect.

What happens to my photos?

They are used only to make your video and are deleted automatically within 30 days. We never use them to train AI models of our own.

Will it look exactly like them?

It should feel like them, but it is an artistic recreation from a picture, not real footage. Small details such as hands or the background may differ from life. The clearer the photo, the more natural the result.
